Holiday Home Tour

Good Morning!! Grab a cup of coffee or hot cocoa and join me today as I share some of my holiday decor with you! I absolutely love decorating for the holidays, but I tell ya, it is a lot of work!! So after a few days, (A week) I finally have it done!

I got lucky when we moved in this house and had the chance to buy the previous owners Christmas tree, trimmings and garlands. The tree is 16 feet tall and fits perfectly in my living room.  She had beautiful decorations, but since being here I have added my own twists and colors to the tree.  I really wanted to add in some of the ice blues, tans, and  creams.  So over time I have collected a few things and replaced some things she had on the tree. I love the color combinations and the whimsy of the Santa’s and elves hidden in the tree!

The rest of the tour is of my kitchen, entry and living room.  I love sparkly, whimsical pieces for Christmas. Such as the bottle brush trees I bought at Gatehouse this year.IMG_0437

I love my little glittered houses and hope to add to my collection each year!

Inexpensive Christmas balls are a great filler for baskets and glass jars.  This year I filled my bird cage I have on my island with silver and blue balls.  I love the look of this and how it stands out as you walk in my kitchen.IMG_0442

I always put my nativity in my entry way.  I love that it’s one of the first things you see when you enter my home.

The last thing I’d like to show you on my Holiday Home Tour is my fireplace mantle.  It’s adorned with reindeers, antlers, and paper trees.  My garland is a mix of blues, browns, golds and this year I added in some white snow flake garland.  I purchased these stockings at Target a few years back. They went perfectly with my tree skirt and the other colors in this room.
